Bernside School is a school designed for children who are not coping in larger schools and need extra help and attention.The subjects follow the main stream syllabus. The subjects offered are Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, HSS, NS, LO, Drama, Art, Sport, Crafts and Cookery. Each term there are excursions on the work we are learning. School plays , Art exhibitions and prize givings are done on an annual basis. The school is a loving and caring environment where the each child can fully reach their potential.
