Blue Star Small School caters for students who need something other than the pressures of a mainstream environment.  We offer small classes with extra care and attention where we work with students who want to learn - we pride ourselves on good work ethic and respectful engagement with learners.

We help re-build self-esteem, and offer insight as to their gifts and talents - considering we are all different and we all have different hings to offer each other in life.

 

We have operating for 9 years, and have built up an excellent reputation in that time.

My son went to Blue Star Small School for 2 years from age 13 to 15. I had been told by several teachers and a psychologist that he would probably not pass matric because he was diagnosed as being ADD with a bit of hyperactivity. From previous experiences in main stream schooling and another private school and his lack of 'achievement' he had a very low self esteem. Lindas nurturing and the whole experience at Blue Star Small School was invaluable in setting him up to move on the Constantia Waldorf, where he did make it to Matric without failing and ended up passing Matric in 2013, with a 74% aggregate. I doubt he would have done that without the 2 years at Blue Star.
