John Graham Primary is situated in the suburb of Plumstead with the splendid mountain as the backdrop. We cater for children from Grade 4 to Grade 7.

The learners at John Graham are encouraged to live up to the motto on our school badge, ‘Honesty and Integrity’ by ‘doing the right thing when no-one is watching.’ We have declared our school a ‘No Bully Zone’ and learners have joined a ‘Dare Not to Swear’ campaign.

We strive to instil an attitude of caring and compassion for others and a sense of responsibility in looking after our environment. We are often praised by visitors to the school for our learners’ courtesy and good manners. Visitors remark on the happy, yet disciplined atmosphere at John Graham Primary School.

In terms of schools, John Graham is average. There is not much that sets it apart from other schools. The discipline in the school is questionable and the principal does not do much to enforce the rules and regulations. The appearance of the school also leaves alot to be desired. The only shining quality about the school are the excellent receptionist who are more than helpful with any request. John Graham is a school which once was great, but over the past few years has slowly headed in a downward spiral of no discipline and very little pride. John Graham - Pull up your socks and show people the school you are really meant to be....
