Royal Kids Academy is an exclusive pre-school facility that caters for the holistic development of children aged from 9 months to 7 years old.

Royal Kids Academy’s mission is to provide an environment in which every child is cared for intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, morally & spiritually so as to instil in each child a strong desire to explore, learn and grow in the environment in which they live; and to do this is a fun, loving and nurturing way.

We aim to create lifelong learners who are confident and independent; and who have a solid foundation upon which they can build their great futures.

Our hours of operation are 07h00 – 13h00 (Half Day) or 07h00 – 17h30 (Full Day) from Monday to Friday, and we remain operational throughout most of the Gauteng-based school’s vacation periods.

Additional aspects that place Royal Kids Academy in a class of its own are:

  • Small classes of between 15 - 20 children (average Adult to Child ratio of 6 to 1) to ensure sufficient teacher-led instructional time without neglecting any social interaction opportunities
  • Qualified and experienced staff who always place the needs of the children first
  • All staff are extensively trained and certificated on First Aid (Basic, Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3, depending on role)
  • Fully operational Health & Safety Programmes in place, and regularly practiced by the children
  • Low sodium, high fibre, low refined sugar diet.  Menus assessed, planned and approved by a U.K. based Nutritionalist to ensure that healthy, well balanced meals (breakfast, lunch and two snacks) are enjoyed by the children.  Correct food choices are offered to encourage healthy lifestyle choices for life.
  • Surveillance Camera System.  To provide additional peace of mind, parents can view their children’s external play at any time of the day from their personal work stations.
  • Individualised bedding (mattress, fitted sheet, duvet/blanket, pillow, and pillowcase) for each child.
  • Parent’s integrated and interactive support systems.  Daily feedback on your child’s physical habits and activities through the Parent Communication Handbook.  Quarterly Observation & Progress Reports at Parent Evenings.  Parent to Parent referral network, Parents social events, etc.
  • A wide variety of stimulating, educational toys, games, equipment and activities.  Play time (both structured and free play) includes: Story-telling, activity songs, puppet shows, fantasy dress-up, parachute, trampoline, etc.
  • Toiletries (excluding nappies, toothbrushes and multivitamins) are all included in the monthly school fee (wet wipes, aqueous cream, bum cream, tissues, toothpaste, sun screen, etc.)
